BIANCA MILLER SPEAKER SESSION

Bianca Miller Speaker Session

After studying Business Management and Economics at the University of Sussex, Bianca joined the world’s largest and most reputable management/ technology consulting firm. Whilst at Accenture, Bianca was HR advisor to a third of a thousand strong graduate pool. In addition to her role she was asked by senior management to develop an initiative to help the graduates develop the desirable skills to aid their career advancement. The initiative was called 'Preparing for Promotion'.

When Bianca isn’t running the business, facilitating workshops, networking and conducting meetings, she manages to find time to mentor graduates as part of the Brunel University WP Mentoring scheme.

Bianca was a candidate on BBC business show ‘The Apprentice’ in 2014, she went onto become the first woman of colour to get the final of the programme. Bianca’s business idea is to launch a range of ‘nude’ hosiery for women of all ethnicities; from English Rose to Sub Saharan African skin tones. She was piped to the winning post at the very last point. The final decision from Lord Sugar is still hotly contested by the media and fans of the show but Bianca has persevered and intends to launch her tights brand ‘Bianca Miller London’ in the winter of 2015.
